Capturing a note by voice or text, and asking a question, both use AI, and AI has a real cost for every request. Each plan includes a monthly amount of that work, measured by what it actually costs rather than by counting requests, so short notes use very little. On Free that is roughly 50 to 150 notes and questions a month, depending on length. Pro includes more than ten times the Free allowance. Portraits are counted separately.

Nothing you saved is affected. Reminders keep arriving, and search, your map, your to-do list and editing by hand keep working. Only new notes by voice or typing and new questions pause. You will see how much is left in Settings before you get there.

On the 1st of every month, in your own time zone. Unused allowance does not carry over.

Yes, a daily share of the monthly allowance, so a single busy day or a runaway script cannot use up the month. Normal daily use stays well within it.

Every new account gets Pro for 7 days, without a card. When it ends, your account moves to Free on its own. You are not charged and nothing is deleted.

Yes. Pro renews automatically until you cancel, and you keep it until the end of the period you paid for. After that you are on Free with all your notes intact.

When the phone apps launch you will be able to subscribe in them. Those purchases are billed by Apple or Google, and prices there may differ slightly. On the website, payments are handled by Stripe.

Checking which shops are close to you while you move costs more to run than the rest of the app. Your errands and to-dos themselves stay free.
